Facility Card

In order for our guests with additional needs to enjoy the park fully they must have a 'facility card' with them. This can be applied for after a reservations has been made for your visit along with 'declaration' that you are stating that you are unable to visit the attractions using the normal queues. When applying, you can also indicate whether you are able to visit the attraction alone or whether you require the assistance of a companion (and possibly an Efteling employee).

No medical information or documentations concerning the nature of the disability is required. However, a declaration is necessary, as in some cases, our employees cannot determine if a guest is unable to visit the attraction using the normal entrance.

To apply for your Facility Card, please get in touch and a member of our team will be able to provide you with a online form to complete, in which you can download, save and print out instantly.

Please note that the Facility Card is for personal use only and is valid for the duration of the entrance ticket or a maximum of 5 days. (A Facility Card must be accompanied with a valid entrance ticket)

Accessibility in Efteling

Parking

Paid parking spaces are available and have been reserved for disabled visitors in the front rows of the car park. If you have a European disabled parking permit, you may use this. Please inform one of the car park attendants onsite upon arrival, and they will be able to indicate where best to park. Please note a car park ticket is still required.

Taxi

If you are travelling to Efteling by taxi, you can navigate to the designated pick and drop-off area for disabled visitors at the intersection of Kinkenpolder and Eftelingsepad (Efteling Path).

Public transport

Efteling is easily accessible by public transport, from the railway stations in Tilburg and 's Hertogenbosch. The ‘Efteling’ bus stop is also easily reachable for guests, where a pedestrian tunnel will lead you directly to the Park entrance. Please keep in mind that there is a slope here.

Wheelchairs and Mobility Scooters

Borrowing a Wheelchair

Please note, Efteling has a limited number of wheelchairs that can be rented free of charge on the basis of availability. We strongly recommend booking a wheelchair prior to your arrival, which can be done up to 1 day before the visit.

The wheelchair desk can be found after the ticket validation point on the Dwarrel Plein. Here, you will be able to ask a member of staff whether a wheelchair has been made available on the day of your visit.

You can also rent a wheelchair outside Efteling namely at a home-care shop or your health insurer.

Note: the footrests on our wheelchairs cannot be folded horizontally and are therefore not suitable for keeping your leg up.

Renting a Mobility Scooter

Efteling has a limited number of mobility scooters available to rent onsite, therefore a reservation is required in advance as the mobility scooters are subject to availability. You can reserve for a mobility scooter up to 2 days in advance of your arrival for an additional cost of €20.00.

On the day of your visit, you can collect the mobility scooter at the issuing location, which can be found after the ticket validation point, to the left on Dwarrel Plein. It is at this point where you will be required to make payment.
